Alexandra Izeboud has a minimalistic and abstract signature style in her designs. In her work she is inspired by materials and researches the technical and esthetical properties and how they can reinforce each other in new types of furniture and lighting.

Alexandra Izeboud presents her mesmerizing “Sunlight”, a wall mounted light, that expresses the diverse character of actual sunlight. The innovative system has integrated sensors that allow the user to interact with the light, which has an enchanting effect on the experience of the light and the atmosphere created around the object. The clever combination of the used materials; polished brass and sand pearled perforated aluminium in combination with the lighting, create a new experience where lighting is not merely a functional object, but has influence on an emotional level.

Next to her “Sunlight” Alexandra will also present her modular “OFFSET Bookcase”. A piece of furniture that in the design embraces its construction, which is cast into a carefully designed interplay of horizontal and vertical non-fixed elements. The load-bearing parts come together in symmetrical and asymmetrical ratios, that keep pulling the eye from one place to another and thus let you keep discover interesting details. This design proves how knowledge on materials, production techniques and precise design can make durable and aesthetically pleasing results. Design for the attentive eye.
