Keep Life is a composite material with a woody nature, malleable and self-hardening, generated using the shells of dried fruit. An ecological material whose essence does not lie in the recycling policy, but in a principle, which gives continuity and consequentiality to a process initiated by Mother Nature, by ramifying and making the most of the advice she gave.
Keep it going
KEEP IT GOING was born following a call launched in December, to which Italian and international designers responded. The basic rule interconnecting all the products on display is one: a project which was developed starting from a “shape 0” in KL with dimensions of 20x20x10 centimetres.
Keep Life is material continuity, continuity between man and nature. This exhibition event was born with the aims to establish and emphasize a continuity between creativity, planning, craftsmanship and design. Keep Life was born in 2015, from an idea of the designer Pietro Petrillo.
The brand Keep Life was born in 2017. In the same year, it was licensed and recognised as an industrial invention.
Keep life is a composite material, malleable and self-hardening. It is produced using nutshells, chestnuts, walnuts, almonds, pistachios and peanuts, to which we add a binder with no toxic substances, solvents and formaldehyde.
